During this 3 days tour to Sipi, you will be introduced to the spectacular Sipi falls, watching them at a closer range offers you a very rewarding experience.
Sipi Falls is a stunning waterfall situated in Eastern region of Uganda in a district called Kapchorwa near the border with Kenya. The waterfall is made up of three different waterfalls along Mountain Elgon, with the highest level dropping from a height of around 100 meters. The three water falls include; Sipi falls, Ngasire falls and Kapkwai falls, each of these falls offers a very unique and remarkable experience for the tourists.
Sipi Falls is a very famous tourist attraction for outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers and adventurers. Visitors can enjoy different activities such as hiking, rock climbing, abseiling, coffee plantation tours, cultural tours, cave adventures, and bird watching in the neighboring areas.
In addition, the Sipi Falls area is known for its stunning views of Mount Elgon, which is the fourth highest mountain in East Africa. This region is also widely known for its coffee plantations. Tourists can also take part in coffee tours and tastings while in Sipi region to learn more about the production of local coffee.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe/Kampala to Kapchorwa
The tour will start from Entebbe/Kampala basing on where you will be where by our skilled tour driver/guide will pick you up from, brief you and transfer you to Sipi Falls found in Kapchorwa District in the Eastern part of Uganda through different town, cities and landscapes. The journey to Sipi is approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes on the road.
Upon arrival, check in at the lodge, have lunch in case you didn’t have it along the way. After lunch and relaxing, go for a guided walk through the community with the aim of visiting the coffee plantation and see how coffee is harvested, processed and packed. After, return to the lodge for diner.

Day 2: Full day Sipi falls Hiking Experience
Have breakfast at the lodge and thereafter transfer to the first level of the Sipi falls. Sipi falls is made up of three levels of water falls, so in the morning you will visit the first one and keep walking until the third waterfall and all these offer you picturesque views and other activities can be done such ad abseiling. On this day, you will enjoy a packed lunch.
After the experience, return to the lodge, unwind and have diner.

Day 3: Return to Kampala from Sipi Falls
After breakfast, enjoy the stunning views of the area for the last time before leaving. After that, embark on the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Have lunch along the way most probably in Jinja District. After lunch, you may also go for a boat ride to see the source of the Nile if time allows, thereafter, your tour guide will drop you off at your hotel or at the Airport.
